Enes Kanter confirms he will attend Game 3 of the WNBA Finals and ‘take some notes’ from Angel Reese

Former NBA player Enes Kanter has confirmed his attendance at Game 3 of the WNBA Finals, set to take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta on October 21st. The Golden State Valkyries and the Atlanta Dream are the final two teams competing in a highly popular and successful WNBA season. Kanter, who has been promoting the possibility of declaring for the WNBA Draft since July, expressed his excitement about attending the game and learning from Angel Reese, calling her his favorite player.

Kanter praised Gabby Williams, the star of the Golden State Valkyries, for her support of trans athletes, which inspired him to come out as a woman and declare for the WNBA Draft. Despite the initial interview's intent to promote inclusivity, Kanter's comments about Reese were laced with sarcasm due to the transphobic undertones behind Williams' statement.

Kanter's last WNBA appearance was marked by controversy when he was removed from a Chicago Sky vs. Indiana Fever game and banned from another game for a heated interaction with guard Natasha Cloud.

As the 34-year-old former NBA center prepares to make a political statement at Game 3, he is likely to face intense scrutiny. Any violation of the fan conduct policy could result in his ejection from the courtside seats, preventing him from disrupting another WNBA game with his presence.
