DAP reps who fail to meet KPIs will be dropped, says Loke

DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook announced that the party will reject representatives who fail to meet their strict key performance indicators (KPIs) in future elections. At the opening of the Perak DAP convention in Ipoh, Loke stated that elected representatives must serve with integrity, discipline, and commitment to their constituencies.

Failure to meet the KPIs will result in the rejection of their candidate appointment letter. Perak DAP chairman Nga Kor Ming was also present at the convention. Loke explained that the KPIs cover service to the public, attendance, duties in their constituencies, participation in party activities, and efforts to strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

He expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the monitoring system, stating that current DAP representatives in Perak are active and fulfilling their duties. Loe emphasized that the monitoring system aims to encourage representatives to perform better and meet public expectations. If anyone fails to meet the expectations, they will be replaced.

The system will be implemented nationwide, with each state developing its evaluation mechanism. Loke assured that the party will continue to refine the system to address any shortcomings and ensure it benefits the public.
