2027: APC, PDP in Kwara will vote Tinubu because of Wike - Gov AbdulRazaq

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has announced that both the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, will vote for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections. The governor attributes this decision to the influence of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. During a meeting with Tinubu's presidential campaign director, Governor AbdulRazaq revealed that APC holds 70 percent of the political seats in Kwara State, while PDP accounts for 30 percent.

With Wike, a member of the APC presidential campaign, expressing support for Tinubu, the combined support of the two main parties makes the state a straightforward win for the President in the upcoming elections.
