Xiaomi Launches 240Hz 2K Gaming Monitor With IPS Panel for Just $149

Xiaomi has added a new 27-inch gaming monitor to its REDMI lineup, the REDMI G27Q 240Hz 2026 Standard Edition. Aimed at competitive players seeking high refresh rates at a lower cost, the monitor boasts a Fast IPS panel, 2K resolution, and a 240Hz refresh rate.

With a 27-inch display, the REDMI G27Q 2026 offers a resolution of 2,560 × 1,440 pixels and a 1ms GTG response time. It supports a 178-degree viewing angle, 500 nits of full-screen brightness, and HDR support. The panel delivers 95% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage and 100% sRGB coverage, with 10-bit color through 8-bit + FRC. The display undergoes factory calibration to ensure color accuracy of ΔE 2.

The monitor maintains AMD FreeSync Premium support for its full refresh-rate range, offering automatic compensation to minimize screen tearing. Xiaomi's Dynamic Overdrive feature adapts gray-to-gray response according to the current frame rate. Gaming enhancements include Dark Field Enhancement Pro, a dynamic crosshair with five modes, and a night vision mode to improve visibility in shadowed areas. Users can simulate a 24.5-inch screen for various esports configurations, though FreeSync Premium is disabled in this mode.

The REDMI G27Q 2026 features Xiaomi's Green Mountain Eye Protection Solution, which has earned an S++ visual dimension certification from the China Quality Certification Center. TÜV Rheinland hardware-level low blue light certification is also present. This technology reduces harmful blue light by 50% without sacrificing display color. The monitor uses a three-sided ultra-narrow bezel design, and its stand supports height adjustment, pivot, left-right swivel, tilt, and VESA mounting with a separate monitor arm.

Priced at around $119 during the promotional period, the standard price is approximately $149.
