The AI labels will be visible directly on the YouTube Music player page for songs featuring AI-generated elements. By tapping the label, users can access additional information about the specific track. These labels will debut on YouTube Music today and eventually extend to the main YouTube application. To accomplish this, YouTube is leveraging its own detection tools to pinpoint AI-generated music.

Furthermore, the company is collaborating with industry partners to determine which songs contain material generated by AI. The primary goal of this labeling system is to provide users with clearer insights into the use of generative AI in the music they consume.
