Actress Yami Gautam addressed recent reports about her receiving a sizable payment for her cameo role in her husband Aditya Dhar's upcoming film, Dhurandhar: The Revenge. During a live appearance on the popular game show Kon Honaar Crorepati, hosted by Madhuri Dixit, Yami revealed that the experience of working with her husband as the director was more valuable than any monetary reward.
When asked if she had charged for the cameo, Yami dismissed the reports and emphasized that some things are priceless. She explained that Aditya had asked her to join the project for good luck, but the opportunity to be directed by a renowned director was the true value of the role. Yami's brief appearance in Dhurandhar: The Revenge sees her playing a nurse who is an undercover Indian agent in Pakistan.
The film, which stars a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, and Sanjay Dutt, has been well-received by both audiences and critics, achieving significant box office success. Yami Gautam's upcoming horror-comedy Nayyi Navelli also premiered recently, starring alongside Adinath Kothare, Mita Vashisht, Sonal Jha, and Sunita Rajwar.
