Ukraine war: Trump on Zelensky: "Not a good man to negotiate with"
Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky repeatedly have differences - also in public. The US President apparently sees his colleague as an obstacle to peace in Ukraine.
US President Donald Trump has described Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a difficult negotiating partner, saying he is an obstacle to a peace agreement with Russia. Trump stated that if there is to be an agreement, it will have to be without Zelenskyy, saying "he's not a good guy for us to negotiate with". Trump also expressed frustration with Zelenskyy's actions, including attacks on Russian refineries, which he claims are driving up global oil prices. Zelenskyy is currently in Brussels meeting with EU leaders to discuss further support for Ukraine.
