Dubai: Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal has reignited the possibility of WWE superstar Roman Reigns returning to India, after the wrestling star expressed his own desire to visit following an extended hiatus. The two actors recently met during promotional work for the film 'Street Fighter', with Jammwal sharing a video on Instagram showing him inviting Reigns to make a comeback to India.
"We have invited him (Reigns) to India," Jammwal said in the video. "It's been too long but hopefully we will be back soon. I love everybody in India and thank you for all the support," Reigns replied. The WWE superstar praised Jammwal, saying "Vidyut here... He is the man." Jammwal explained that he had promised Indians he would request Reigns to visit the country, adding that Reigns' positive response made the moment even more special.
Reigns last visited India in 2017 and the most recent WWE event in the country was Superstar Spectacle in Hyderabad in September 2023. Reigns, a prominent name in WWE, is expected to attract a significant fan following in India if he decides to return, with his presence having a big impact on the wrestling landscape in the Asian country.
