PRN Melaka: PH sudah kenal pasti calon sejak 2 tahun lalu, kata Amirudin

Pengarah Pilihan Raya Parti Harapan (PH) Amirudin Shari revealed that the candidate list for PRN Melaka has been known for the past two years, stating, "Long time ago, since two years ago." He also revealed that the final list of candidates will be vetted along with the party's chairman before being officially announced on October 24.

Amirudin, who is also a State Chief Minister of Selangor, informed that the candidates come from various backgrounds, including young, old, experienced, and skilled individuals, but they must be at least 18 years old to be eligible to vote. When asked about the likelihood of PH winning the election, Amirudin expressed confidence in the success of the coalition, but emphasized that the ultimate decision lies with the voters.

The Election Commission (SPR) has set November 14 as the date for the vote, with the candidate announcement on October 31 and the first count on November 10. The election will be held for 28 parliamentary seats, with the Barisan Nasional party winning 21 seats in PRN 2021, while PH secured five seats and Perikatan Nasional two seats.
