Prime Video has secured the rights to adapt Julie Plec's new original young adult drama series titled "Rally." The streaming platform will collaborate with Universal Television to bring this story to life, set within the high-pressure world of elite competitive tennis. Andre Agassi, the renowned tennis legend, will also serve as an executive producer for the series.
The drama is produced in association with Entertainment 360 and Amazon MGM Studios. Guymon Casady, a representative from Entertainment 360, revealed that the concept for "Rally" is deeply personal, rooted in his observations of his children's experiences at the IMG Academy during their junior tennis training. He explained that the series aims to capture the intense dedication, pressure, and heartbreak associated with elite junior tennis.
