My Fresh Mandate Offers Opportunity To Deliver More For Ekiti People, Says Oyebanji At Inauguration

Ekiti Governor Biodun Oyebanji, who was inaugurated for a second consecutive term, expressed his excitement over the fresh mandate bestowed upon him by the people of the state. Oyebanji stated that the mandate would enable him to work even harder and deliver more for the people, thereby consolidating the progress made during his previous administration.

In his inaugural speech, the governor paid tribute to all former governors and extended his hand of fellowship to his political opponents from the last election. He acknowledged the immense task ahead and promised to be accessible to the people, welcome honest counsel, and work with everyone in Ekiti, irrespective of social and political divides.

Oyebanji also thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his support and urged the people to utilize the opportunity of the upcoming presidential election to renew the mandate for President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima. He expressed his commitment to using the second term to connect education more closely to enterprise and practical skills, while encouraging technology, innovation, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
