Recent realisations: Shit sinks, Pauline has it easy and Trump does have ethics!

European leaders gathered at an October 15 summit in Brussels to criticize recent pro-Russian actions taken by the Trump administration. These actions include an October 9 announcement regarding a deal to purchase Russian diesel and a call to replace President Volodymyr Zelensky. According to the Kyiv Independent, the U.S. also restricted the military use of Starlink and may have limited intelligence sharing, potentially increasing risks to Ukrainian civilians during Russian aerial attacks.

President Zelensky described the recent moves from the U.S. as a betrayal of Ukraine. Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson stated that the diesel agreement is driven by American politics rather than Ukraine and noted that helping Russia increase war financing is a bad sign. Portuguese Prime Minister Luis Montenegro added that the agreement is not coherent and will not solve fuel price problems.
