Pakistan's Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has faced backlash on social media following the alleged sharing of an AI-generated puzzle featuring Hollywood star Marilyn Monroe. The puzzle, which required viewers to spot an object that seemed out of place in a 1956 setting, sparked debate over the minister's social media activity amidst Pakistan's current economic, political, and security challenges.
While some users saw it as an attempt to engage with a viral trend, others questioned whether a senior government official should be sharing such content given the country's pressing issues. The image depicted Monroe in a scene with shorts and a crop top, but a closer examination revealed a modern smartwatch on her wrist - the detail that viewers were expected to identify.
The authenticity of the post remains unverified, as Khawaja Asif's account appears to be withheld on X.
