Eagles News: Jalen Hurts is running less than ever

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has been running less frequently this season, with his rushing yards per game falling to a career-low of 21.4, ranking 9th among quarterbacks. Since Week 2, he has averaged just 15 yards per game. His two rushing yards in Sunday's game against the Vikings were the fewest of his 89 career starts, at 2nd-least in a four-game stretch since becoming a full-time starter in 2021.

Hurts attributes his limited rushing to a "very unique" calf injury he sustained during the game against the Rams. Eagles coach Nick Sirianni faces the challenge of leading his team to victory in a game following an international trip, coming off a bye week, against a team that has also returned from a two-week break.
