Bihar excise staffer shot by smugglers during chase
Ram Kumar Singh was shot dead outside his house in Kanakpuri locality by four armed men. His family alleged that a land dispute motivated the attack, and he had received threats previously. Sushila Devi, his wife, claimed that police did not act on earlier complaints against the accused. Following the murder, locals protested, leading to the suspension of a police officer for inaction.
