BitChord is an open source YouTube Music alternative that puts Google to shame
It does nearly everything better
BitChord is an open source music player that aims to be an alternative to YouTube Music. The developer created it as a free, ad-free option with a clean interface and customizable settings. BitChord can be used without a Google account and even supports migration of liked songs, playlists, and history from the Google service. It also offers integration with Discord and allows users to download songs and adjust audio quality and equalizer settings.
While it doesn't have the ability to sync data across devices or play music on other platforms, it offers a lighter, more customizable experience compared to YouTube Music.
