Alimentare, Peroni e Galbani arricchiscono il premio dei lavoratori

Due important contracts in the food sector have been signed, enhancing the workers' award and providing better worker protection, stricter rules for tenders, and increased training. One is for Birra Peroni, where Fai, Flai, and Uila have renewed their agreement for 2026-2029. The economic incentive, which reaches 3,135 euros in 2029, increases by 280 euros per regime.

The restaurant ticket value also increases by 2 euros during the contract period. The percentage of the wage converted into welfare benefits has been raised from 10% to 18%.

The second contract is with Galbani Big Lactalis, which covers a four-year period. Significant economic and regulatory changes include a 250 euro increase in the variable production award, bringing the total regime wage to 2,880 euros and a total of 10,895 euros for the four years. Economic treatments in sites have been updated.

The agreement recognizes important regulatory achievements, such as the recognition of time for rest, the central role of the RSU and National Coordination, and the revival of the National Restricted Committee and technical commissions on topics like safety, training, and skills. Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) sustainability, digitalization, and AI in a participatory model have been given special attention.

Improvements in tendering and contracting matters have been introduced by the contracting companies, providing more protections for female workers and workers regarding the maintenance of economic and regulatory conditions in case of a contract change. The Union of Trust has been established to address gender discrimination and sexual harassment.

The attention to vocational training has been reinforced, recognizing at least 4 additional hours of individual training in addition to the legally required basic training. Galbani Big Lactalis has also enhanced the commitment to health, safety, and well-being.
