2027: I can bet my life Obi will humiliate Soludo in Anambra – Momodu

Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Dele Momodu, has stated that Peter Obi could easily defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, particularly in the South-East and parts of the South-South regions. Momodu, a known critic of Tinubu, expressed his belief that Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate in 2023, remains popular in these areas and could pose a significant challenge to Tinubu's re-election bid.

During an interview on Arise Television, Momodu confidently asserted, "I can bet my life on it that Peter Obi will humiliate and disgrace Soludo in Anambra state." He described Obi as a "rock star" in the South-East and South-South, attributing his popularity to the former governor's strong support in these regions. Momodu, however, endorsed former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, who is also running for the presidential candidacy under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressing his support for a united opposition.

He encouraged opposition leaders to unite, highlighting that their cooperation could significantly impact the election's outcome.
