Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, Dele Momodu, has predicted that Peter Obi could defeat President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election. The Labour Party candidate remains popular in the South-East and parts of the South-South, Momodu stated, asserting that Obi could humiliate and disgrace Soludo in Anambra state.
Momodu described Obi as a "rock star" in the regions, noting his popularity could impact Tinubu's electoral prospects. Despite supporting Atiku Abubakar, Momodu expressed his desire for opposition leaders to unite, believing their collaboration could influence the election's outcome.
