Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has urged All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors to prioritize delivering President Bola Tinubu's re-election in 2027. During the APC Presidential Campaign Council inauguration in Abuja, Wike emphasized that if a Governor fails to win their state, they should not claim victory for the President.
Rivers State and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are states Wike has committed to supporting Tinubu. He stated that the presence of President Tinubu's projects in the territory ensures the people will vote for him. Wike also challenged any area council to claim they haven't seen the President if he fails to win in Lagos.
