Apple’s Beats sub-brand has joined forces with The Pokemon Company to introduce a special edition of the Beats Pill wireless Bluetooth speaker. This limited edition product will debut in select regions, featuring iconic Pokemon characters Mimikyu and Pikachu. The speaker boasts a predominantly grey design, with Pikachu gracing the grille and Mimikyu making an appearance in grayscale on the removable colour-matched lanyard.
A Poke Ball charm further accentuates the Pokemon-themed packaging, prominently displaying Pikachu on the front and Mimikyu on the back. The device retains the same IP67 water and dust resistance rating and 24-hour battery life as its predecessor from 2024. Users can pair two speakers together to enjoy Amplify Mode and Stereo Mode for an enhanced audio experience.
When connected via USB-C, the speaker delivers lossless audio. Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity supports pairing with both iOS and Android devices, offering one-touch pairing. The Pokemon Beats Pill will be available in the US, UK, and China, retailing at US$149.99 (~RM612), matching the price of the standard version. As of now, there is no information on potential expansion to other countries.
