Moby, Hannah Stocking & Adam Rose Set For Microdrama Slate From TikTok & Made By Us Studios
EXCLUSIVE: TikTok and creator economy firm Made By Us Studios have vertical video on the mind, and have enlisted major digital and music stars to help them. The two have partnered on a multi-year deal to make a slate of creator-led micro-series for TikTok and its app, PineDrama. Deadline has the news for you ahead […]
TikTok has entered into a multiyear partnership with creator management company Made By Us to co-produce a series of microseries, featuring creators Hannah Stocking and Adam Rose. This collaboration marks a new approach to storytelling, with creators at the forefront of the creative process. The first two series, "Player" and another yet-to-be-named series, will star Stocking and Rose, respectively.
Stocking's series, "Player," is a romantic revenge thriller directed by Louiza Zouzias and written by Arun Blair-Mangat and Chela Reyna. Rose will star opposite Zaria Simone in a "new genre" microseries directed by R.H. Stavis. The partnership aims to build a new premium storytelling language around the way audiences consume entertainment today.
This move follows TikTok's successful first microseries collaboration with Issa Rae's Hoorae Media, whose show "Screen Time" was the top performer on both platforms.
