‘Know me now?’ – Lamine Yamal pokes fun at Galatasaray star Mario Lemina after Barcelona victory
A great response from the teenager.
Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal took the opportunity during a Champions League match against Galatasaray in Istanbul on Tuesday to playfully poke fun at the Galatasaray star Mario Lemina. Conceding a 4-1 victory for Barcelona, Yamal showcased his skills, leaving Lemina's comments from before the game in mind. Lemina had been quizzed about choosing between team-mate Leroy Sane and Yamal, responding that he didn't know Yamal and only knew Sane.
Yamal responded to the situation by sharing an Instagram post featuring a carousel of pictures, with one image displaying him holding the MVP award. The post included the caption, "He know me know?" Eric Garcia, also involved in the match, commented on the situation to CBS Sports, suggesting that while Yamal doesn't require additional motivation, some people tend to pay too much attention to him, and the fans may start discussions about him. Garcia laughed and replied, "He knows, he will know!"
