2027: Go and collect your PVCs – Atiku makes fresh appeal to voters

The African Democratic Congress presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has urged Nigerians to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ahead of the 2027 general elections, according to a recent post on X. Atiku's appeal targets voters of all ages, as he highlights the economic challenges and security concerns facing the country.

Many parents are struggling to provide for their children, while pensioners find it difficult to afford essential items like medicine and food. The former Vice President also points out that young people are spending their earnings on basic necessities such as transport and rent. Additionally, Atiku notes that families are living in constant fear of kidnappings and attacks.

He emphasizes that no family should have to endure both hunger and insecurity simultaneously and stresses that this hardship should not be passed down to future generations. Atiku advises registered voters to "go and collect your PVC. Hold on to it. It is your voice, your choice, and your peaceful power to demand change."
