Sundowns to face Richards Bay FC after MTN8 triumph

Mamelodi Sundowns, victorious in their 2-0 win over Orlando Pirates for the MTN8 trophy, will face Richards Bay FC in a Betway Premiership match at Princess Magogo Stadium on Tuesday. Recently, the story unfolded as Philani Mthembu, a fervent Kaizer Chiefs fan, pledged his neutrality to avoid stirring the rivalry. Upon the match day, Sundowns' goalkeeper Ricardo Goss forecasted an intense contest against the KwaZulu-Natal outfit, which is eager to capitalize on the home crowd under their new coach Dimitar.

Goss remarked, "They're a young team, they're dynamic, full of energy. We know they'll want to press us, perhaps assuming we're fatigued. Yet, we believe our experience can tip the scales. If we put in the effort and show up fully, we're confident we can secure three hard-earned points."
