Abia partners LaLiga to empower youths through sports

The Abia State Government has announced a strategic partnership with LaLiga and the Spanish Embassy in Nigeria to host a "LaLiga Week in Abia State" from November to December. The initiative aims to empower the state's youth through sports activities and activations, providing opportunities for local talent to develop skills and open up global prospects.

Additionally, the state's Ministry of Youths and Sports recently visited correctional centers in Aba and Umuahia as part of its welfare and rehabilitation agenda, identifying cases requiring legal aid, board assistance, medical, and family support for 20 inmates preparing for pre-school, non-residential certificate exams.
