Swansea's humble approach paying off - Cabango
Ben Cabango believes the Championship leaders' ethos is paying dividends as they go into games against Millwall and West Ham United.
Ben Cabango, Swansea City's captain, reflected on the club's approach to overcoming adversity during their recent Championship winning streak. The 26-year-old defender made his Wales debut against Finland in 2020 and has been instrumental in helping his team bounce back from a 1-0 deficit, most recently against Norwich. Cabango attributes this success to the club's humble and confident demeanor, as expressed by their manager Vitor Matos.
This has led to Swansea being the top team in the Championship. Despite their recent success, Cabango acknowledged the challenges ahead, particularly in upcoming fixtures against Millwall and West Ham United. The defender, who recently returned from Wales' Nations League duties, expressed confidence in his team's ability to adapt and perform after a period away from domestic football.
