Googlebooks finally work with Samsung phones thanks to fresh updates

Google has officially added Samsung phone compatibility to Googlebooks' Better Together features, thanks to recent updates. This includes functionality such as Continue On, Cast My Apps, Quick Access, and Notification Sync. The enhancements will be automatically rolled out over the coming days, but users must meet certain requirements.

These include having Android 17, compatible service versions, and correct connectivity settings for the features to function properly. According to Google community specialist Mishaal Rahman, who announced the changes via a Reddit post, the most significant update is the support for Samsung phones running One UI 9 on Android 17.

It's worth noting that Googlebooks initially lacked Samsung device support, leaving certain buyers unable to utilize the cross-device features designed to provide seamless integration between Android phones and laptops.
