Man United youngster Jacob Devaney sees red in horrendous return to club football

Manchester United's young talent Jacob Devaney had a disastrous return to club football during a loan spell with Hibernian. The teenager, who had impressed in the Republic of Ireland under-21s, made a crucial mistake by giving away a penalty almost immediately upon coming on as a substitute. This costly error led to Hibernian's 0-1 defeat against Dundee United.

Devaney's poor performance was further compounded when he was shown a red card, marking his first red card of his senior career. Despite only making the briefest of appearances, the incident highlighted the challenges faced by young players making their way into the senior game.
