Alabama-Georgia 'College GameDay' picks: Who picks who to win SEC showdown?
Alabama hosts Georgia in inclement weather Oct. 10 in a battle of SEC unbeatens. Who will come out on top?
The Alabama vs Georgia showdown on College GameDay generated a flurry of predictions as the panel of ESPN analysts gathered to discuss the marquee game of the week. With Hurricane Isaias looming, the game's environment was far from ideal. Despite the challenging circumstances, the panel featured former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young alongside Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Pat McAfee, and the abstaining Kirk Herbstreit.
Georgia's performance thus far this season has been impressive, with the Bulldogs dominating their opponents. The panelists were asked to pick their choice for the winner, with Desmond Howard firmly selecting Alabama. Nick Saban and Pat McAfee went with Georgia, while Pat McAfee joked about calling the game with Bryce Young. Bryce Young, serving as a guest picker, also chose Alabama. This intense rivalry is a testament to the fierce competition within the SEC conference.
