Google’s newest Pixel watch faces are starting to reach older Pixel Watch models
The app update through the Play Store removes the need to sideload Google's newer designs.
Google's newest Pixel Watch faces, including Weave, Chronograph, Multicolor Modular, Multicolor Reveal, and the Stephen Curry face, are now reaching older Pixel Watch models. The update is available through the Google Pixel Watch Faces app on the Play Store. The rollout is gradual, so some Pixel Watch 4 owners may still need to wait for the update.
This is not an exclusivity period for the newest Google Pixel devices, as Google typically rolls out features to older models as well. Pixel Watch 5's features, like its new Screen Saver options and Proactive Assistance, have already made their way down the line to Pixel 10 and Pixel 9 models. Now, the Pixel Watch 4 is experiencing the same progression, with one of the most visible upgrades officially reaching it.
A Reddit user reported receiving the update directly via the Play Store on their Pixel Watch 4 LTE, specifically version 4.2.12.989940186, which unlocks the aforementioned faces.
