NPFL: How Rivers United can win the league title – Finidi

Rivers United technical adviser Finidi George has revealed the club's main objective for the upcoming season of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL. Finidi stated that the primary aim is to secure victory in all their home matches. He emphasized that dropped points in home matches were responsible for the team's failure to clinch the title last season.

This season, Rivers United has achieved this feat, winning all three matches played at their home ground. The Port Harcourt-based club is the only team that has managed to avoid defeat thus far. Finidi expressed cautious optimism about their prospects, acknowledging that while they are unsure if this strategy will lead to the league title, they are willing to attempt it.

The team lost the NPFL title last time due to losses against Bayelsa United and some drawn games at home. As they head into the next match against Abia Warriors, Finidi reiterated their belief that all home games can be won with the right approach and good football performance.
