Portuguese football federation backs Ronaldo to continue with Portugal

The Portuguese Football Federation (PFF) has reaffirmed its support for Cristiano Ronaldo's continued involvement with the national team. PFF president Pedro Proença described Ronaldo as an icon of Portuguese football and emphasized that his selection is justified by his exceptional sporting abilities. Proença also addressed the reported disagreement between Ronaldo and Portugal coach Jorge Jesus, stating that it is a misunderstanding that should be resolved internally.

Ronaldo's decision to continue representing Portugal reflects his strong attachment to the national team, according to Proença.
