Apple releases third iOS 27.2 developer beta for iPhone

Apple has released beta 3 for iPadOS 27.2, tvOS 27.2, and visionOS 27.2 to developers, as part of a series of software updates for developer testing. These updates followed Apple's previous release cycle by two weeks. The 27.2 beta versions have been noted to introduce several new features, though the list is not yet complete. Developers are advised to keep an eye out for further updates, as there is a possibility of additional features tied to upcoming hardware announcements.

Apple is reportedly preparing to unveil new Home products and Macs in the coming weeks, which may influence the features included in these betas. Currently, public betas for iPadOS 27.2 beta 3 are not accessible, but they are expected to be released within a day or so. Developers are encouraged to share any new discoveries they may have encountered in the iPadOS 27.2 beta 3 or other updates in the comments.
