In the first quarter of the current fiscal year, total cement despatches (both domestic and exports) rose by 3.88 percent, totaling 13.141 million tons, compared to 12.651 million tons in the same period last year. Domestic despatches rose by 7.79 percent, reaching 10.845 million tons, while exports fell by 11.32 percent, with 2.296 million tons dispatched in the first quarter of the current fiscal year compared to 2.589 million tons in the same period last year.
