In a post on X, Zilis, a technology executive, expressed her deep love for Musk, stating, "I've loved him more than life itself." She described the breakup as difficult, explaining it took her a week to transition from love to letting go.

Zilis emphasized her role in providing Musk with stability and a secure environment, saying, "I feel happy that I got to show Elon how it feels to be deeply understood, nurtured, and peacefully loved with stability and gentleness." She added that their family home had served as a refuge for Musk, away from his "militant existence."

Zilis expressed her gratitude for the time spent with Musk and the joy of being a mother to their four children. Despite the loss, she hopes the couple will remain friends and maintain a good co-parenting relationship, saying, "I do hope and pray he and I can be great friends and coparents." As of the post's publication, Musk had not responded to Zilis' message.
