Telangana CM to inaugurate IDOC in Karimnagar, to lay foundation stones for ₹345.78 crore development works in Sircilla

Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will inaugurate the Integrated District Offices Complex, also known as the New Collectorate, in Karimnagar on Wednesday. This marks his first visit to Sircilla as Chief Minister, where he will participate in development programs and address a public meeting. The event is expected to cover important issues such as the Manair Riverfront Development Project, civic infrastructure, and the management of the dumping yard in Karimnagar.

Over 500 police personnel have been deployed to ensure the safety of the chief minister during the bandobust arrangements in Karimnagar. In Sircilla, Reddy will lay the foundation stones for several projects, including the expansion of the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple complex and pilgrim amenities at Vemulawada, which is estimated to cost around ₹99.4 crore. Additionally, he is likely to take part in a padyatra, a religious procession, before addressing the public meeting.

The political significance of Reddy's visit to Sircilla cannot be understated, as it is his first visit to the constituency as Chief Minister. The constituency is currently represented by BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao. Notable ministers such as Ponnam Prabhakar, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and Adluri Laxman Kumar, along with other Congress leaders and MLAs, visited the venues on Tuesday to review the preparations for the chief minister's visit.
