Russian attacks kill at least 6, injure 34 across Ukraine as Kyiv faces another overnight missile, drone attack

In the past 24 hours, Russian attacks across Ukraine have claimed at least six lives and left 34 people injured, with Kyiv enduring another overnight missile and drone assault. The aggression resumed with Russia targeting Kyiv once more, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to five others. Neighboring Kyiv Oblast also bore the brunt of the conflict, with at least one child losing their life under the rubble of a destroyed house, as reported by Vyshhorod's Military Administration head Tymur Tkachenko. A man and a woman were also hurt during this attack.

Ukrainian air defenses managed to neutralize 160 enemy targets, including five missiles and 155 drones, during the night-time assaults. These strikes were reported across 18 locations. In northern Sumy Oblast, two fatalities and 15 injuries were recorded after Russian strikes, following guided aerial bombs hitting the city of Sumy. Additionally, a 74-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were killed by guided aerial bombs in the same region.

Eastern Donetsk Oblast witnessed six people injured due to Russian attacks over the previous day. In southern Kherson Oblast, five people suffered injuries as Russian forces targeted critical infrastructure and residential areas, with two houses sustaining damage. In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a 67-year-old man was injured when Russian forces attacked three districts multiple times with aerial bombs, drones, and artillery, leading to a fire.
