Bills news: Josh Allen off injury report before Patriots clash

The Buffalo Bills celebrated a hard-fought victory against the Los Angeles Chargers, but the spotlight soon turned to the well-being of their star quarterback, Josh Allen. After sustaining a late hit to his knee, Allen was observed limping, yet team coach Joe Brady remained confident in his quarterback's health, expressing no alarm over his physical condition.

This positive outlook was backed by the official league report, which showed Allen absent from the week's injury list, signifying he was ready for the upcoming clash with the New York Patriots.

Although Allen did not carry an injury designation, he admitted his game left much to be desired. Despite securing a 24-16 victory at Highmark Stadium, the Bills struggled with five turnovers, resulting in an arduous offensive performance for Allen. He completed just 16 out of 26 passes for 204 yards, with no passing touchdowns and two interceptions, while also suffering from four sacks.

Nevertheless, Allen added a commendable 22 yards and two rushing touchdowns on the ground. These numbers fell short of his customary elite standards, and a video shared by Ryan Talbot of Buffalo Bills News captured Allen grimacing post-game, eliciting a mix of humorous and bewildered reactions from fans on social media.
