Amazon has unveiled its latest Fire TV Stick 4K model as part of its fall hardware refresh, lauding improvements in speed and design. The new remote eliminates the blue Alexa button, replacing it with a more intuitive feel in the dark, a dedicated home button, and a favorites button. Its ergonomic design suits the typical user's hand. The new remote's layout and buttons have been reworked with darker, tactile elements for comfort and ease of use. Amazon claims the new remote is a notable improvement, though it's surprising considering the main appeal is a better remote.
