Sean O Malley expressed surprise at Marlon Vera's victory at UFC 331, marking what could be Vera's best performance to date. Vera broke a four-fight losing streak by defeating Charles Jourdain at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. His losing skid began with a bantamweight title defeat to O Malley at UFC 299.
