‘Please help…’: After Surat woman’s viral video, stranded Kedarnath pilgrims airlifted

A Surat woman's desperate plea on social media for help has led to the rescue of 14 people from Kedarnath, India. The women, Ranjanben Panchal, and her family were stranded for two days due to heavy rainfall and landslides blocking their path. In an emotional video, she called on Gujarat authorities to aid her and the others trapped high in the mountains.

Panchal's plea went viral, prompting the Uttarakhand government to send a rescue helicopter to airlift them to safety. Despite the rough mountain conditions, all 14 pilgrims were saved and continued their journey to Badrinath.
