NADMO mobilises over 1,000 mattresses as relief efforts continue for Hohoe flood victims

The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) is mobilising over 1,000 mattresses to aid flood victims in the Hohoe Municipality of the Volta Region. Volta Regional Director of NADMO, Pascal Agbagba, revealed that the additional supplies from the organisation's national office will supplement relief items already provided to the affected communities.

Speaking on The Pulse on JoyNews, Mr Agbagba stated that NADMO is continuing to collaborate with residents as authorities respond to the flooding situation. "They are excited; as I'm speaking to you currently, we are with them. And we have brought a few items," he affirmed. NADMO has assured the residents that more support is being mobilised from the national office, he added.

The National Office is preparing to send more than 1,000 mattresses to the impacted areas, Mr Agbagba disclosed. These additional items will complement the relief supplies already distributed to the flood-affected residents. The Volta Regional NADMO office is coordinating with the national office to mobilise further assistance as the authorities continue evaluating and responding to the needs of the affected communities.
