The objective is to accelerate product development, expand the product range, and streamline the organization, according to the report. Initial ideas being considered involve shifting away from the traditional spring and fall product release schedules and eliminating certain middle-management positions to reduce the gap between engineers and senior executives, as stated in the report, citing unnamed sources familiar with the discussions.

Furthermore, the report mentioned that Apple is already pursuing cost-cutting measures and that Ternus aims to explore new revenue sources and ways to generate additional income from existing products. Apple has not yet commented on the matter as of now.
