Mexico to continue tariff talks with US this week: Tuesday’s mañanera recapped

Economy Minister Marcelo Ebrard was traveling to Washington, D.C., to continue trade negotiations with U.S. officials. The U.S. has not yet agreed to these terms, and Mexico and the U.S. are reportedly in a race to secure a bilateral trade deal before the November midterm elections. Sheinbaum praised the Morena party's process for selecting 17 gubernatorial candidates, stating that it had a strong sense of unity.
