197 combat engagements at front in past day, most in Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka – General Staff

Since the start of the day, Russian forces have launched 197 attacks against Ukrainian Defense Forces, with the heaviest concentration of activity in Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, 197 combat engagements have taken place throughout the day.

The Russian forces executed 64 airstrikes and dropped 196 guided aerial bombs. They also deployed 5,565 kamikaze drones for attacks and carried out 2,132 shellings of Ukrainian troops' settlements and positions. In the South Slobozhanske direction, Russians stormed Ukrainian positions five times near Starytsia, Kozacha Lopan, Volohivske, and Prykolotne. In Kupiansk, two assaults were repelled. In Lyman, Ukrainian defenders thwarted five Russian attempts to advance, with one engagement ongoing.

In Sloviansk, three Russian advances were stopped. In Kostiantynivka, the Defense Forces repelled 20 Russian assaults in areas like Kostiantynivka, Novoselivka, Illinivka, Dovha Balka, and Rusyn Yar. Another engagement remains active. In Pokrovsk, Russia attempted to advance in areas such as Vilne, Bilytske, Chernihivka, Myrne, Serhiivka, and Molodetske, with three combat engagements ongoing.

According to early estimates, 33 Russians were killed and six wounded. Two automotive equipment units, 10 special equipment units, two UAV control posts, and one ammunition depot were destroyed. Four automotive equipment units, five UAV control posts, and 52 enemy shelters were damaged. Twenty-four UAVs were destroyed or suppressed.

In Oleksandrivka, four Russian attacks were repelled in Sichneve and Verbove areas. Eleven attacks were recorded in Huliaypole, with Rizdvyanka, Kopani, Yehorivka, and Myrne areas affected.
