PRN Melaka: Bersatu sedia guna lambang sendiri jika PN terus digantung

Bersatu Melaka has begun using its own symbol for the upcoming PRN, should the Perikatan Nasional (PN) continue to be held up by the Perwakilan Rakyat Nasional (JPPM), according to Hishamuddin Abdul Karim, the party's spokesman. However, Hishamuddin clarified that the final decision rests with the party's highest leadership, taking into account current developments and possible political cooperation forms.

JPPM's move to hold up PN last Wednesday, after issuing a notice to the coalition, aimed to safeguard the interests of PN from repeatedly violating regulations. Hishamuddin affirmed ongoing political cooperation discussions with Pakatan Harapan (PH) at the state and federal levels. Bersatu Melaka remains open to considering any form of political cooperation, including potential PH Plus arrangements, which Melaka PH Secretary Adly Zahari previously mentioned.

The specific form of cooperation, seat distribution formula, or approach to tackling PRN is still entirely up to the party leadership's discretion and decisions, Hishamuddin added, without giving a final verdict, including seat allocation. Adly, while speaking to Bernama, stated that seat allocation among PH Melaka's components is already completed, but the final arrangement will only be confirmed after discussions among PH's Presidential Council, PH state, and PH Returning Officer Amirudin Shari.

Meanwhile, Hishamuddin reiterated Bersatu Melaka's support for Radzi Md Jidin as the party's state chairman, alongside Mohamad Ali Mohamad as the state election officer and himself as the chief of the main campaign office.
