Melaka election: Political cooperation talks between BN, other coalitions begin tomorrow

In the lead-up to the impending Melaka state election, the state coalition of Pakatan Harapan (PH) has reached an agreement on the allocation of seats among its constituent parties, with Amanah securing eight seats. PH Melaka chairman Adly Zahari disclosed that the final seat distribution, currently under the purview of the Election Director Amirudin Shari, will be officially endorsed by PH’s superior leadership in the coming week.

The allocation remains consistent with the state-level consensus, with Amanah retaining its eight seats. The final list will be presented to the PH Presidential Council, PH Melaka leadership and PH election director for confirmation. Adly, alongside Amanah president Mohamad Sabu and PKR Melaka State Leadership Council acting chairman Adam Adli Abdul Halim, addressed reporters following a PH Perdana Ceramah in Melaka.
