IGP confirms ex-Negeri Sembilan exco members to be summoned

Negara Sembilan's former chief minister, N Sembilan, is set to be contacted by police starting tomorrow to record statements as part of an investigation into alleged maladministration and royal institution issues, according to National Police Chief Khalid Ismail. The chief announced this during a press conference at the PICCA convention center in Butterworth, where he also celebrated the launch of a police whitening project in the state's Blackspot region.

Besides former exco members, the police are also planning to interview various witnesses and individuals related to the case to ensure a comprehensive investigation. So far, some individuals have been contacted for interviews, including one or two potential witnesses in the matter. Khalid emphasized that the police are currently investigating all reported incidents, and not ruling out the possibility of violations under the Customs Act or other legal provisions.

The police are conducting their own investigation, but ultimately, the decision to file charges and other legal actions will be made by the Attorney General's Chambers. At present, the security and safety situation in Negeri Sembilan is reported to be under control, and the public is encouraged to cooperate with the authorities for a safer environment.
