Former UFC double champion Henry Cejudo made his boxing debut in the main event of the Misfits Boxing event at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. Originally scheduled to face Deen The Great, Cejudo was matched up against actor and amateur boxer Javon "Wanna" Walton as a last-minute replacement. The fight started with Walton having the speed advantage, but Cejudo soon took control and began dictating the pace of the bout.

After four rounds, Cejudo secured a razor-thin split-decision victory over Walton, who had an impressive 3-0 amateur record. Cejudo's performance in his boxing debut has sparked speculation that he might consider boxing as a long-term pursuit, though it's unlikely that Zuffa Boxing will pursue him anytime soon.
